Responsibilities

• Wash
• peel
• chop
• slice
• and prepare vegetables
• fruits
• and other ingredients
• Clean and sanitize workstations
• utensils
• equipment
• floors
• and kitchen surfaces.
• Wash dishes
• trays
• pots
• pans
• and sometimes glassware and silverware.
• Dispose of waste
• manage trash bins
• and assist with dish sorting or conveyor systems
• Accept and store kitchen deliveries
• restock supplies
• and assist kitchen staff with inventory tasks.
• Comply with food safety and hygiene standards under chef supervision.
• Perform physical tasks: lifting
• standing long hours
• and multitasking.
