Responsibilities
- Wash
- peel

- slice
- and prepare vegetables
- fruits
- and other ingredients
- Clean and sanitize workstations
- utensils

- floors
- and kitchen surfaces.
- Wash dishes
- trays
- pots
- pans
- and sometimes glassware and silverware.
- Dispose of waste
- manage trash bins
- and assist with dish sorting or conveyor systems
- Accept and store kitchen deliveries
- restock supplies
- and assist kitchen staff with inventory tasks.
- Comply with food safety and hygiene standards under chef supervision.
- Perform physical tasks: lifting
- standing long hours
- and multitasking.
